Hi there, Céad Míle Fáilte into the Cottage.
I live in Ireland's west coast wilderness; Connemara.
Irish Poet, Oscar Wilde once described Connemara as a 'savage beauty'. In this landscape, you can find every shade of orange here where blustery Atlantic sea air sweeps up sugared sand which is caressed over mint moss sprinkled stone walls that cradle grassy fields. Twelve peaked Mountains rise over sleepy lakes all bedded in copper Bogland.
Rooted in rural Ireland, I aspire to embrace slow living with cat companionship as we move through the seasons of nature and life.
Cats teach us the art of rest and observation. They remind us that stillness is not laziness but a way to recharge and reconnect. I want to lean into this and share it with you too.
If you’ve ever dreamed of a cosy home with cats, you’ll feel right at home here.
Hi, I'm Marie Rose
